Since forming in 2019, The Arcadia Collective has been on a mission to nurture and provide a safe home for our local LGBTQIA+ community. The Mothership venue is a major component of our community service. It provides a location for educational and social events hosted by ourselves, as well as by other organizations and individuals in the community.
The Arcadia Collectives strives to operate the Mothership in a way that it is accessible to all in our community, regardless of socioeconomic status. We also have financial obligations to meet in order to operate the space. In order to achieve both goals, we rely on the generous donations of community members like you.
For 2025, The Arcadia Collective is setting the goal to raise at least $10,000 to assist our aims to serve the community. The main objectives are to provide funding for space improvements; establish a micro grant program, and to have funding on-hand to weather adverse economic conditions and unforeseen expenses.
Microgrant Program
To assist community members in the short-term with issues such as:
-Food Insecurity
-Housing Instability
-Medical expenses not covered by insurance
Space Improvements
Items including, but not limited to:
-Audio system upgrades
-Lighting upgrades
-Improving First Aid capabilities
-Sourcing/installing an AED
-Repairing or replacing event furniture and equipment as needed
Contingency Fund
Providing ballast for times of low event traffic. Also for unforeseen expenses like HVAC, plumbing or electrical repairs.
The amount we are allocating for contingency funding is based on the monthly expenses to operate the Mothership. Those expenses are broken down below:

What we are asking for is not only to keep the doors open and the lights on, but to improve our ability to serve our community. Every little bit helps. From fiscal donations, to volunteer service, to just spreading the word about our organization and our goals.
Besides our community’s gratitude, your donation can also get you a tax deduction. The Arcadia Collective is a 501c3 non-profit recognized by the IRS. Contact us with proof of your donation and we will get you the necessary documents to claim your donation on your 2025 tax return.
Thank you for supporting The Arcadia Collective. Our outreach and service to the community is needed now more than ever.
