SEEN is a celebration and tending of queer and trans joy, community, authenticity, resilience, and HOPE. By and for local trans and queer friends to be SEEN in a safe environment, through expression and embodiment, surrounded by nature. SEEN is a time to meet yourself where you are at, to take up space, and to feel comfortable in your skin: to be embodied.
Moonwater Farm in Compton is a land-based learning center committed to uplifting and nourishing the land and the local community. Our gathering outside of Pride month reminds us we don’t have to wait for what we need. We create our care.
Offerings by queer and trans practitioners and artists:
- hands-on, tactile workshops led by Moonwater Farm
- safe, consent-driven massage therapy
- yoga and meditation
- body-map journaling
- tattoo pop-up
- live art and music
- maker vendors
- coffee and food

SEEN is community funded. Your donations will be directly supporting your local trans and queer community and our health. In practicing financial transparency, we are fundraising to cover costs for the space, provide food and coffee, and pay practitioners and artists. So far, we are grateful for event support and supplies from Panacea Holistic Institute, Oatly, and Pueblita Tortillas.
In addition to fundraising events and the gofundme, this will be a ticketed event with sliding scale. Tickets include entry, participation in all offerings (except tattoos and vendor goods paid separately), coffee, and food. SEEN tickets and RSVP to release at a later date.
