Hello, my name is Lewis. I am raising funds to help towards buying flags for my local community and to display around Brandon and Byshottles. Let me tell you a-bit about myself and who is involved. I was born, bred and raised in Brandon. I have lived here for 27 years now and have had many generations of my family live here before myself. I am a proud member of the Armed Forces and I have currently served just shy of 9 years and still have another joyful 11 years left to serve. This is why the national flag and St George’s cross means so much to me I find myself as a very proud, passionate and patriotic person towards our beloved nation. I want Brandon Byshottles to have a lovely display of our beloved national flag. I have currently 7 personnel helping me put up these flags around Brandon byshottles, the team has been very supportive and helpful throughout the past week. Brandon been a very tight knit community we have had hundreds of people supporting us that been from waves beeps from the car to a elderly personnel stopping for a little chat, so I know 7 people doesn’t seem a lot we’ve received support from all over the community, so I just want to say a massive thanks for that. We have managed to put up 80 plus flags around our village and we intend to display considerable more. As flags aren’t as cheap as everyone think they are we are looking to raise funds to buy as many flags as possible. As these flags have been solely bought by myself. So please donate even if it’s as small as £1 every little helps it really does. Any remaining money left over will be donated to Brandon community welfare hall food bank.
Again thank you so much for the support we have received so far and thank you for taking the time to read our story.
Best wishes, Lewis and the Troops.
