With the support of our GoFundMe donors, the website www.LGBTQCommunityNews.nyc launched on October 7, 2025. Two weeks later, we began to distribute the debut edition of our free newspaper.

Now we're shiftng the focus of this fundraiser, with the goal of raising $8,000 to cover the printing, distribution, and content creation costs of a 32-page, all-color newspaper timed to come out, so to speak, at the outset of Pride Month: June 1, 2026.

10,000 copies of the free newspaper will be availavle at indoor locations, and hand-distributed at Pride Month events throughout the 5 boroughs of NYC. The paper's theme: "Pride is Present"---as in, the current state of affairs, particularly within the realms of erasure, visibility, legacy, and forward-looking advocacy.
