Hi, I am raising money to help get myself to National History Day in Washington D.C. I won first place at the Alaska State level for my project on The Alaska Equal Rights Act. My project provides a crucial story to tell about Alaska's rich history in the civil rights movement. It is a display of a Native Alaskan woman like myself stepping up against structural racism against the Native population, providing a real legal change as the first ever law to outlaw segregation.
