My Summer Internship in Guatemala

This summer, I will be spending two months in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala volunteering for the nonprofit group FUNDAP. This internship abroad is through the Global Leadership Program in the O'Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs. I will be working with other students and volunteers on solving environmental related issues, such as water quality and deforestation, in rural Guatemalan communities. I’m asking for your support to help gain funds for program costs, travel and living expenses, as well as not being able to work a paid job this summer. My time abroad will allow me to gain career experience in a unique environment and to help solve environmental challenges for Guatemalan communities.
