Can you help...

I am trying to help my parents raise money for my twin sisters urgent surgery. She has been in pain with her stomach from around the age of 15, no-one could find anything wrong with her. Things were so bad she ended up in a wheel chair. Mum and dad tried everything to help, acupuncture, hypnotherapy, chiropractor, various NHS hospital visits, but the NHS said it was all in her head.

Then in October last year she was admitted to A+E in the middle of the night doubled over in pain, no pain killers helped and nothing helped until she eventually fell asleep. This happened again and the hospital suggested it could be endometriosis. The doctor put her on the pill and wrote to gynecology for her to be seen but an urgent doctors referral would be up to a year's wait and we weren't in a situation to wait, so we had no choice but to go private.

After months things got even worse, and the pain was a lot more frequent and lasted for up to 22 hours at a time before she falls asleep with exhaustion. Still waiting now after seeing the Princess of Wales once and being referred, she is still waiting to be seen.

My parents have had no choice but to go private as we are all unable to watch my sister suffer for hours and hours with no hope of things getting any better. Currently she has had an MRI and an Endosure test privately to confirm she has endometriosis and Adenomyosis. My sister is so desperate to get out of pain, she has asked her specialist for a hysterectomy, which they won't do, they say she is too young. The only option she has is a laparoscopy which could cost up to £15,000, so I am setting up this go fund me page to try and raise some money to please help my sister out of pain. The surgery could be as soon as July 1st. She is now 18 and unable to work due to the pain. This has been going on for so long. I just want her to have a normal pain free life.
