Hi I'm Miri! A second year paediatric nursing student currently studying at Cardiff.

In March, I have the opportunity to travel to Ghana to volunteer in a local hospital for 3 weeks to work alongside the medical teams and serve the local community. During this time I will experience working in a child health clinic, paediatric ward, NICU and A&E, as well as taking part in community outreach days and additional clinics that they run weekly. This is a really exciting opportunity for me to develop my nursing skills whilst also contributing to patient care in both a community and hospital setting.

If you feel you are able to give financially towards my trip any donations would be greatly appreciated and your donations would go towards flights, travel insurance, vaccinations etc. Alternatively, if you could keep me in your thoughts and prayers as I travel and during my placement then I would be really grateful.
