Hi! My name is Ryley Blake and I am an undergraduate student at the University of Iowa. I am currently working on my neurobiology degree and my dream is to go to medical school. The American Cancer Society at the University of Iowa has led me to VIDA volunteers for their 2024 medical mission trip. I am looking for some help to fund this trip to Costa Rica from June 11- June 19, 2024. In Costa Rica, I will be improving the overall health of underserved communities through education and mobile clinics. This will allow me to be a part of changing today's healthcare system for the better. I will also gain hands-on cultural and clinical experience alongside real physicians and nurses. This opportunity will help me get one step closer to my dream of completing medical school, and becoming a physician. Thank you for your time!
