In October of 2024, our mother Nicky was taken from us too soon. Nicky was an extraordinary woman, a loving and nurturing mother, a loyal and supportive sister, a devoted daughter, an inspiring businesswoman and an unconditional friend to many.

In June of 2024 Mummy was diagnosed with stage 3 peritoneal mesothelioma. Mesothelioma is an extremely rare type of cancer, usually linked to asbestos exposure. This type of cancer is commonly found in the lungs. Peritoneal mesothelioma is based in the abdominal region and is even rarer.

After two successful rounds of chemo the disease took an aggressive turn. Despite a positive prognosis from her oncologist and her positive attitude displayed consistently, Mummy lost her fight just four months after her diagnosis.

Our goal is to reduce the unbearable cruelty and torment this cancer inflicts on families around the world, like ours. The unimaginable pain and unpredictability of mesothelioma ruins lives. We hope to help change this. We have created this page with the sole aim to raise funds for mesothelioma cancer research charities. We hope these funds will contribute to further the technology in detecting this cancer earlier, and the treatment to increase the chances of recovery.
