Fund Mental Health Training in Milwaukee Schools

Tax deductible
Nearly 60% of high school students experience anxiety, depression or suicidal thoughts. One in five will struggle with mental illness, and most will go untreated ... according to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

We are Heading4ChangeMKE, a student organization raising money that will go directly to the National Alliance on Mental Illness Southeast Wisconsin. We're bringing their mental health education into Milwaukee classrooms — specifically a program called, "Ending the Silence". This 50-minute program educates middle and high school-aged students on mental health awareness — how to identify warning signs, and steps that they can take when there are symptoms.

Every little bit helps, and your generous donation will go towards:
$100 - pays for stipends for 3 presenters to share their recovery story during an Ending the Silence presentation for High School Students.
$250 - pays for 30 students to attend an Ending the Silence Presentation and learn important information about mental health and suicide prevention resources.
$500 - pays for 1 family to receive service navigation, education and emotional support services from a parent peer mentor in the Lighthouse Project to assist their child/children with receiving the care they need for mental health concerns.
