STILL STRUGGLING BADLY AND NEED HELP!

We are in desperate need of help. The past year has been a very hard one for me and my dad. In March of last year, I lost my job because it was too difficult to help take care of Mom and have a full-time job. We lost Mom just a few months after, in May. Then my retina detached just before her funeral and almost kept me from her service. Months of applications, interviews, and searching still haven't produced another job.

We have exhausted everything in an effort to stay where we are, but there's nothing more we can do, and we have to move. Dad and I realized that if we have to move, then we wanted to move back to our mountains. The mountains that are our home no matter where we are on this planet. The mountains where we both find comfort, beauty, and friends. The mountains that I lived in for 43 years and swore I would never leave, but did so I could be with Mom and help her with her dementia. We just didn't know how short a time we had left with her.

Then God opened a door for us to return to our mountains. The one place that Dad and I are truly at home. Within a short amount of time, Dad found a home when he was just looking, and God made it possible to be ours. We knew we would need help moving and found a moving group to move us. We were going to do all the packing and just let them take us back to the mountains. To pay for it, we have been selling every possible item from the dining room, living room, lawn mower, computer hardware/furniture, ANYTHING that can help us raise the money needed. We were almost there, and then I woke up unable to see out of my eye.

I have had 7 unexpected surgeries on my eyes since June of last year due to retina detachment and tears. Each one worse than the last one. Due to the extensive surgeries and the threat of losing my eyesight, we are having to change our plans. With weight restrictions, no bending, holding my head a specific way, and sleep position rules to retain my eyesight, it is impossible for me to move boxes or even pack them. Everyone knows of Dad's physical disabilities, and him not being able to do much more makes it impossible for us to pack the house for the move home. The moving company can do everything for us, and the cost is very reasonable for what we've asked of them. Our problem is now we have to find a way to make up the difference with nothing left to sell and a significant amount needed. We are scheduled for June 25 and have to have it all by then.
