My name is Mariebeth Bondoc. With a heavy heart, I share the devastating news of my niece in the Philippines, Jenny, who passed away suddenly at just 42 years old from severe pneumonia that started from a simple flu. Jenny was more than just family—she was a beacon of love, strength, and resilience. A devoted single mother to her three beautiful children, the youngest only 4 years old, she was their world, their protector, and their biggest supporter.

What makes this loss even harder to bear is that Jenny is the third family member I’ve lost this month, just weeks apart. Our family is heartbroken, trying to process wave after wave of grief.

Despite life’s challenges, Jenny was incredibly hardworking and selfless. She provided for her children, supported her aging mother, and helped her two older siblings whenever they needed her. She carried these responsibilities with grace, always putting others before herself.

Now, her children are left without the warmth and guidance of their beloved mother, facing an uncertain future.
