Help us save Irish Medium Youth Services under political attack.

Despite the overwhelming growth of the Irish Medium Youth Sector the
Department of Education and the Education Authority withdrew all state funding on Monday 3rd of April.

Parents, children and youth workers are faced with the loss of 4 youth clubs and 4 jobs leaving 420 children without essential youth services.

Sorcha Ní Chathmhaoil, aged 9, wrote to Mr Boyd,
"If you take this away there won’t really be any places for kids like me to go and speak Irish and have fun.
Don’t stop funding it please. If you can find it in your cold and rusted heart please keep funding our club."

This is a political decision by civil servants in breach of international human rights principles and should be reversed immediately.

But we will not wait on the civil servants to protect our young people.

We are fighting back and we need your support. We will not rest and are building our own power and capacity now to deliver the services young gael deserve in the language they speak and love.
