Help Us Bring Inclusive Fitness & Adaptive Movement to Tottenham Hale!

Who We Are:

Hello! I'm Lindsey, Co-Director of The Limitless Circus .

Our program offers accessible movement experiences in Tottenham Hale, combining aerial arts, juggling, and adaptive fitness to serve individuals of all abilities. We believe that fitness should be accessible to everyone, regardless of physical or cognitive ability.

What We Do:

Limitless provides a unique range of classes, from aerial arts (silks, slings, trapeze) to juggling and adaptive fitness sessions, designed for individuals with diverse needs, including those with disabilities, neurodivergence, and those recovering from brain traumas.

Our welcoming, accessible environment and specialised equipment ensure everyone can participate safely.

Our classes empower participants to build strength, resilience, and cognitive health through movement, making well-being fun and attainable for all.

Our teachers have been trained to specifically teach the disabled community from a disabled lead instructor and we have completed 6 weeks of training on classes, behaviour, language and needs.

We have worked hard on access riders, documentations and all the specific needs for the community to exist.

Our Mission:

Our mission is to break down barriers to fitness and creativity.
By incorporating science-backed practices, we provide a holistic approach to wellness that supports cognitive health, neuroplasticity, and physical empowerment.

We proudly align with social prescription initiatives, offering a non-medical pathway for individuals to manage stress, boost mood, and improve quality of life through active, enjoyable sessions.

We believe that classes for the disabled community should be led by individuals from that community. That’s why we are dedicated to placing disabled individuals at the forefront of our programs, building a supportive social network that’s both created by and tailored for the disabled community.

What We’ve Already Achieved:

1. Arts Council Funding:

We received support from the Arts Council, which has been essential in helping us launch and sustain our programs, allowing us to make a meaningful impact in our community.

2. Low-Cost and Free Classes:

We are working hard with the councils and other community run establishments to provide classes that are part of social prescription program, offering the disabled community affordable or free access to activities that improve motor skills, fitness, and well-being in a supportive, inclusive environment. So far, we have managed to provide the classes at zero cost as the community struggles financially, we want to be able to provide as much as we can, and we are for a donation based contribution from thoise who attend to ensure we see some return on this work.

3. Inclusive Teacher Training

Partnering with adaptive circus expert Erin Ball, we have trained our instructors in techniques tailored for disabled and neurodivergent participants, enabling us to deliver genuinely adaptive and inclusive classes.

4. Specialised Rigging Equipment :

We have invested in adaptable rigging that allows us to safely lift and lower participants of any body size, making our space accessible, safe, and empowering for everyone.

5. Bathroom Adaptations:

We successfully awarded £5,000 to adapt our bathroom into a wheelchair accessible bathroom, which has enabled us to offer the classes to this amazing community.

Why We Need Your Help:

Although we’ve received National Lottery Project Funding, we need an additional £7,000 to meet our match-funding requirement and expand our reach and enable us to keep the classes low cost/.free . Here’s how your donation will make a difference:

- *£4,000* will fund 72 classes for 8 individuals per class to attend , covering instructor fees, participant transportation, and taking our portable equipment to nursing homes and community centers for those unable to travel.

- *£3,000* which is crucial for us to move forward - will allow us to meet our match-funding requirement, unlocking our National Lottery grant so we can continue this transformative project into 2025.

Anything we made further from our base needs will enable us to :

  • Hire a Social Media Manager:

- By bringing in a dedicated social media professional, we could enhance our digital presence, raise awareness, and reach a wider audience
- Raise Awareness of our mission, programs, and impact.
- Attract More Participants and Supporters by sharing success stories, event updates, and community testimonials.
- Build an Engaged Online Community that aligns with our goals.

  • Cover Essential Operational Costs:

Running a community-centred CIC has core operational costs, including rent, utilities, insurance, and equipment maintenance.
Fund raising would ensure that we can sustain and expand our programs without interruptions, keeping our services accessible to all.

With your support, we can reach even more people, keep classes affordable or free for those who need it most, and ensure our community continues to thrive. Together, we can help everyone experience the freedom, confidence, and joy of movement.

Every donation brings us closer to a healthier, more inclusive world. Help us give our community a place to soar—physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Thank you for believing in our mission.
