Fund for Undocumented Families in BCS

In the past 2 weeks, due to the coronavirus, thousands of workers in the Bryan/College Station area have lost their jobs and are now struggling to pay rent, afford groceries, and cover other expenses. While this is hard on everyone, it particularly tough on the undocumented members of our community, who are unable to claim unemployment benefits and who are not included in the stimulus bill passed by Congress. 

As a result, myself, local immigration lawyer Laura Leon, and other community members are raising funds to help undocumented families who have lost their jobs and are struggling to meet their basic needs. With the money we raise we will buy as many $100 HEB gift cards as possible and distribute those to families in need.  The more money we raise, the more families we can help.
