I am Olha, an artist and friend of Captain George, a sweet and brave pug. George was named our Captain. He guarded his entire family as if he were a huge wolfhound. But he also rallied and befriended thousands of people from different countries. Thanks to our Captain, not only our family was fed, but also other families in trouble, many animals received their food at that terrible time.

Alas, trouble always overtakes unexpectedly. War. Circumstances have developed in such a way that we, like many other families, have to settle down in a foreign country. Without citizenship, knowledge of the language, stable work, savings and so on. We have lost everything. In order to start everything from scratch, we make a titanic effort.

In the year since the beginning of the war, the book “The P.A.W” was written and published, many paintings were painted, and souvenirs were created.

I participate in international art exhibitions, record watercolour lessons, and create colouring books.

But in the near future, I will need additional education, including language courses. This will help me in promoting my art, creating new books and other projects I'm working on.

My dream is to get a special education and certification as a botanical illustrator. Now I can't afford it.

We try to be strong, but sometimes it is very difficult.
