Every 11 seconds, a girl goes through female genital mutilation, 37,000 girls under the age of 18 are married each day, 35% of women worldwide have experienced either physical and/or sexual intimate partner violence or sexual violence by a non-partner at some point in their lives.
Grassroots activists and organisations are at the frontlines of ending violence against women and girls. They are almost always underfunded for the life-saving work they do. They give up their time and put themselves at risk to support girls in highly violent situations.
ALL the money raised from this fund will be going start to grassroots activists and organisations that are working to end violence against women and girls. Every single penny will go towards helping everyday heroes that are fighting for the voiceless.
