Eden's Volunteer Experience in Uganda

Hello!!!! First off, thank you so much for taking time to read this and be here! I love each and every one of you.

I am blessed with an amazing opportunity to volunteer in Lugala, Uganda this summer through a program that teaches English to children in need. In addition to teaching, I’ll be involved in several humanitarian efforts, such as:

About me: I am a current junior at Brigham Young University studying Neuroscience minoring in English and Literary Studies. Over the past few years, I’ve had the privilege of volunteering in different settings and working in a hospital, which has deepened my desire to serve others as I was inspired by the beautiful connection and love people showed for one another. I want to share this love I saw first-hand with as many people as possible. As education is life-changing, I hope to help these children gain the skills they need to open doors for their futures by working with them closely and making them feel loved. I’m inspired by the resilience and potential I know these children have, and I’m eager to support their growth in any way I can.

As this trip is an unpaid volunteer opportunity, I need your help to make this possible! Despite my efforts to save as a current employee, I still need to raise sufficient funds for travel and living expenses.
