Fund Aboriginal participation at World Archaeology Congress

Donation protected
Hi my name is Michael Westaway an archaeologist at the University of Queensland and I’m seeking support to fund Aboriginal participation in a discussion panel at the World Archaeology Congress where we discuss the implications of the reburial of mungo man and lady plus over 100 ancient people whose stories were never told. Gary Pappin from the Mutti Mutti and Mark Brett Schneider from the Ngyampaa have worked to make the Willandra story to be better known, they are strong supporters of education and learning. Their involvement in the discussion panel is significant as they have long been supporters of a keeping Place and education centre, Gary as a former EO of mungo joint management and Mark as a member of the Aboriginal Advisory Group. Adding their insights into this complex story and building momentum to support the development of an Aboriginal managed keeping place and education centre is in close alignment with the World Heritage convention and it would be great to have your support. Flights to Darwin are expensive and your support would be greatly appreciated.
