Help Me Rebuild My Life — A Young Dreamer from Gaza My name is Abdel Qader, a 22-year-old student from Gaza, Palestine. I was studying at Al-Aqsa University and dreaming of a bright future in sports and education. I come from a family of 11, and like thousands in Gaza, we have lost everything due to the ongoing war. This war didn’t just destroy our home—it shattered our dreams, our safety, and our loved ones. I lost my dearest friends, my cousin, my uncle, his wife, and their children in a brutal airstrike. My father and sisters were injured when a neighboring house was bombed. I used to be full of ambition. I was a top student in Physical Education, a basketball player working hard to reach the national team, and a certified fitness coach helping others. I also volunteered with children, youth, and people with special needs, bringing them moments of joy even in the darkest times. Now, everything is gone—our house, my books, my sports gear, my job, and my hope to continue studying. I am doing everything I can to protect my family and find a way out of this war zone, to survive, and to rebuild. I am asking for your help.
