Who We Are

The Alliance Against Islamic Regime of Iran Apologists (AAIRIA) is an advocacy group opposing the Islamic Republic of Iran (IRI) and its apologists in the West.

Our members include:

- Former IRI political prisoners and family members of executed prisoners

- International jurists specializing in IRI human rights abuses

- Human rights activists from the Iranian diaspora

- Regime opponents from diverse backgrounds, including academia, journalism, and think tanks

Our Mission

To prevent IRI apologists implicated in regime crimes from spreading propaganda and gaining legitimacy in Western institutions.

As survivors and witnesses of the IRI’s human rights crimes, AAIRIA is committed to ensuring that Iranian regime apologists who participated in, covered up, or minimized IRI atrocities are not afforded platforms by Western academic and media institutions.

Through carefully documented research, public campaigns, and direct advocacy, AAIRIA seeks justice for victims of the IRI while demanding accountability from those who enabled, concealed, or lied about the IRI’s record of mass killings, repression, and terrorism.

Documented Achievements

Over the past two years, AAIRIA’s research and advocacy have led to major victories, compelling colleges and universities to confront regime apologists and institute remedial action:

✅ Mohammad Jafar Mahallati – On November 28,2023, former IRI Ambassador to the United Nations (1987–89), removed from his tenured faculty position at Oberlin College after exposure of Mahallati’s role in covering up the 1988 massacre of 5,000 political prisoners in Iran. AAIRIA also uncovered a sexual harassment lawsuit filed in federal court by a graduate student against Mahallati during his employment at Columbia University.

✅ Seyed Hossein Mousavian – On June 1, 2025, Princeton University ended its association with the former IRI ambassador to Germany (1981-1987), whose tenure coincided with IRI sponsored assassinations abroad, including the Mykonos Restaurant killings.

✅ Behrooz Ghamari-Tabrizi – Princeton University professor with sympathetic views toward the IRI, departed Princeton after AAIRIA’s campaign documented his role as a regime agent.

✅ Ali Akbar Mousavi Khoeini – Sometime in May or June 2025, Khoeini was removed from George Mason University after AAIRIA exposed his past role in the IRI, despite Khoeini’s efforts to depict himself as a “reformer.”

These outcomes demonstrate that through research, persistent advocacy, and public accountability, institutions can be held responsible, facilitating meaningful change.

ما که هستیم

«اتحاد علیه مهره‌های رژیم اسلامی ایران» سازمانی متشکل از زندانیان سیاسی سابق، خانواده‌های اعدامیان، حقوقدانان و فعالان حقوق بشر است که هدف آن پاسخگو کردن عوامل و مدافعان رژیم جمهوری اسلامی در غرب است.

ماموریت ما ساده اما حیاتی است: جلوگیری از آن‌که افرادی که در جنایات جمهوری اسلامی نقش داشته‌اند، جایگاه و تریبون در دانشگاه‌ها، رسانه‌ها و نهادهای سیاست‌گذاری غربی به دست آورند. ما صدای قربانیان و بازماندگان را تقویت می‌کنیم و در برابر کسانی که تلاش می‌کنند چهره این رژیم را در خارج از کشور بزک کنند، می‌ایستیم.

کارنامه موفقیت‌های اثبات‌شده

تنها در دو سال گذشته، AAIRIA پیروزی‌های بی‌سابقه‌ای به دست آورده است:

✅ محمدجعفر محلاتی – سفیر پیشین جمهوری اسلامی در سازمان ملل، پس از افشای نقش او در سرپوش گذاشتن بر کشتار ۵۰۰۰ زندانی سیاسی در سال ۱۳۶۷، از کالج اوبرلین کنار گذاشته شد (نوامبر ۲۰۲۳).

✅ سید حسین موسویان – سفیر پیشین جمهوری اسلامی در آلمان در زمان ترورهای میکونوس، پس از کارزار بی‌امان ما در ژوئن ۲۰۲۵ از دانشگاه پرینستون کنار گذاشته شد.

✅ بهروز قمری تبریزی – استاد پرینستون با گرایش آشکار به جمهوری اسلامی، پس از افشای نقش او به‌عنوان مدافع رژیم، از دانشگاه جدا شد.

✅ علی‌اکبر موسوی خوئینی – مقام پیشین جمهوری اسلامی، در سال ۲۰۲۵ از دانشگاه جرج میسون کنار گذاشته شد.

این موفقیت‌ها ثابت می‌کند که افشاگری مؤثر است. پیگیری سازمان‌یافته می‌تواند شبکه نفوذ جمهوری اسلامی در دانشگاه‌های غربی را از ریشه برکند.

حمایت از قربانیان – رساندن صدای بازماندگان و خانواده‌های اعدامیان.

رایزنی سیاسی – واداشتن نهادها به پاسخگویی در قبال میزبانی از مدافعان رژیم.

ما نشان داده‌ایم که محلاتی، موسویان، قمری تبریزی و موسوی خوئینی را می‌توان از دانشگاه‌ها کنار زد. با کمک شما می‌توانیم دیگر مدافعان و عوامل رژیم را که همچنان در دانشگاه‌ها و رسانه‌ها جا خوش کرده‌اند، افشا و حذف کنیم.
