Fund a safe cook stove! Kenyan kids need school food!

Hi, we're raising funds to buy a safe cooking stove for a primary school in impoverished rural Kenya, the Igoji Primary School. School food is kids' best link to getting an education. Without it, some parents would make the kids work instead. And for many, it's the only meal they get in a day.

But staff at the school are using a stove that's inefficient and unsafe. Let's help them buy and install a stove that will protect the kids and staff and save fuel as well.

Jenn got to know the staff at this tiny, well-run school when she ran a training day for the pastoral care team. She was shown the school and met the delightful students who thrive under the care of dedicated staff. A group of kids took her on a tour of the village to see the homes they live in, the barest shelters with scant food and desperate conditions. With good food at school they can grow, learn, and possibly get out of the poverty trap.
