Lest we forget the prisoners✊ Help Bring Hope & Healing Behind Bars

This year, I’ve been given the profound honor to return to two Texas prisons—facilities where I was once incarcerated—not as an inmate, but as a messenger of hope, healing, and restoration.

I’ve been invited to the Dalhart Unit, a prison in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. I will spend three days at a facility where I was once a ward of the state. In order to do this I will be purchasing a ticket to fly from Austin to Amarillo, then renting a vehicle to drive from Amarillo , Texas to Dalhart, where I will stay for two nights as I enter back into the prison to participate in various programs over the course of three days.

Fundraising Goal: $2,000

Your support will help cover essential travel costs so I can bring encouragement, tools for healing, and recovery-centered curriculum to those currently incarcerated. Many of them are yearning for transformation, but have few opportunities to see it modeled by someone who has walked the path.

There is something amazing about seeing those who once did time with return to the place where they left others behind. Your help will allow me to bring hope!
