Fund a home, wedding, and family

Hi, my name is Rochelle. Together with my partners Alex and Jess, we are trying to fund our future. We want to start a family, but there's a few steps we need to check off first.

Our goals for the next couple years are the following:

1. Home

2. Commitment Ceremony

3. Children

The first step in this journey is a home.

We've been recently approved for a home loan and we're excitedly starting our housing search with the help of a realtor/family friend. However, even though we qualify for a home loan, it's been explained that we'll need around $33,000 for both the down payment and closing costs. This doesn't include the costs of any repairs, moving, and other fees along the way. The home loan is only valid for 90 days before we would need to re-qualify, and even with our combined income, we're at a spot where we just can't make it on our own in time.

And that's why, we're asking for help.

All of our savings, everything we own and work for, is going toward this. Ultimately too, if we can find a home (with a yard?), we'll likely also have a Commitment Ceremony there. We can't afford a fancy venue, we can't afford a destination wedding, but we can at least have this. We can start our future together, and our commitment to eachother, at our home. Then too, we'll have a space to start a family together.

Our relationship is unconventional. But the three of us have been together since 2014, and we want to work toward these future goals together.
