Fund a Dream Return to Mexico

Help me visit my homecountry Mexico after 25 years!

Hello dear friends and family, I am reaching out to all of you to share some exciting news and to ask for financial support.

I was just approved from USCIS an Advance parole that allows me to travel out of the country to Mexico and back to the United States given my immigration status at the moment. These advance paroles are very unique meaning not granted to just anyone and the time window is very, very limited.

So, I am asking all of you to help me financially with passports expenses, plane tickets and expenses for myself and my family to make this trip happen during this small window I have been granted. I have not been back in my country in 25 years!

My mom is currently in Mexico and she has never met my daughter Penny that is almost 4 years now it would mean the world for my mother to meet her grandchild from her only daughter.

As many of you might know, I came from Mexico when I was 16 years old with my famiy, I overstayed my visa then I received my work permit through the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program to work legally in this country.

My family has always been very grateful to be in this country and my father ingrained in me to show my gratitude and respect by being a model citizen. I have never been a burden to this country and I have worked without gaps in employment since I am 17 years old. I have never received or applied for any social benefits such unemployment, housing, food stamps, no criminal record not even traffic tickets.

To show my gratitute, respect and love for this country I have lived my life under JKF philosophy "ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country."

I have dedicated my life work to non profit, community work ,social services. I have and currently participated in advocacy to pass WA state laws and benefits such Working Families Tax Credit and been involved in advocacy for WA maternal/patternity paid leaves. I currently sit on the board for advocacy for the Community Advisory Network from Northwest Harvest and Dep of Social Services in WA for SNAP benefits and food insecurity.

I know times are tough and your support to my family would be greatly appreciated but please take care of your family first and keep us in your prayers to make this dream come true.
