It’s been more than 20 years since Sri Lanka brought home an Olympic medal — but we believe a new era is on the horizon.

Hero For Lanka is a bold new initiative to identify and support the country’s next world-class athlete — and we’re inviting you to be a part of it.

What Is Hero For Lanka?

It’s a national Olympic athlete search, run by a local Sri Lankan organization and broadcast as a television series, with a mission to:

• Discover and select promising young athletes

• Provide expert training, nutrition, and mentorship

• Build an ecosystem where athletes can focus on winning, not worrying about money

How Are We Helping?

At the end of the selection process, TukTukRental.com — on behalf of:

• The 2025 TukTuk Tournament participants, and

• The Vision Sports Centre & Classic Fight Shop in Calgary, Canada

will donate two Mahindra eTuks to the top athletes selected.

These eTuks will be rented out to travelers to create a self-sustaining income stream — ensuring that Sri Lanka’s next Olympians can train without financial burden.

This model doesn’t just support training — it provides freedom, dignity, and long-term opportunity.

We’ve already raised enough to fund one eTuk thanks to our 2025 participants.

And we’re almost at our goal for the second eTuk, thanks to an incredible $5,000 USD donation from Vision Sports Centre & Classic Fight Shop — organizations dedicated to empowering youth through sport, education, and mental health.
