Stop Harm on Tulsa Streets (SHOTS) is Oklahoma's ONLY harm reduction/syringe exchange program. Oklahoma has the highest incarceration rate in the world, highest rate of Hepatitis C in the nation, and Oklahoma has high rates of HIV and STIs. SHOTS goal is to bring compassionate and non-judgmental services to people who use drugs and their friends and family.

SHOTS has been my outlet for coping with my mother’s death and I truly believe in this organization and the women who founded it. SHOTS hands out free Narcan and sterile equipment to anyone in need. They treat program participants with dignity and respect, they helped reverse 50+ overdoses, and it is all run by unpaid volunteers. None of us are paid for our positions and we are okay with that because we are passionate about our work. However, we have under 1,000 dollars left for the year. If we do not get more funds, we cannot serve our participants. If we can’t serve our participants, we can’t save lives. Please consider donating to a cause that has helped me through a very dark time.
