Our Immediate Need: Enhanced Security

Recently, our studio faced an unexpected challenge—a break-in. While we’re grateful no one was hurt, this incident highlighted a critical need to enhance our security measures. Our first priority is to protect the space that means so much to all of us, ensuring that everyone who walks through our doors feels safe and secure.

But our needs go beyond security. We’re making essential improvements to keep our studio welcoming for everyone. Your support will help us install an HVAC system for year-round comfort and add a water bottle refill station to promote sustainability, ensuring our space remains a place where everyone feels they belong.

Our Priorities and Budget Breakdown:

We’ve carefully assessed the areas where improvements are needed most, and we’re sharing our plan with you in order of priority:

1. Enhanced Security Upgrades:

Roll-Up Gate Repair: $9,500-12,000

Additional Cameras and Security Enhancements: $1,200 - $4,000

Total Estimated Cost: $10,700 - $13,500

Details: The safety of our community is paramount. This includes repairing and reinforcing our roll-up gate, as well as upgrading our camera system and adding advanced security features. These measures will help us prevent future incidents and protect the space we’ve all worked so hard to create.

2. HVAC System (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning):

Estimated Cost: $15,000 - $25,000

Details: Comfort is essential for our dancers, instructors, and guests. A proper HVAC system will ensure our studio remains a welcoming environment year-round, no matter the season.

3. Water Bottle Refill Station:

Estimated Cost: $1,500 - $3,000

Details: Sustainability and convenience are important to us. A water bottle refill station will not only reduce waste but also keep everyone hydrated and ready to move.
