Today I messaged my friend Mikiala to check on her: Mikala’s husband Christopher has been in the hospital. She tells me that he has passed away. Nothing can prepare someone to get that call. There truly are no words to describe how this has left her and their two beautiful daughters feeling. I don’t know how to comfort her because I simply know that nothing right now is going to change this tragedy. My hope is to shower her and her girls in love through helping in any way I can. I ask that you help in whatever way you can. This isn’t an easy thing to go through. But if we all ban together we can help take one thing off of her plate.
