Hello,

My name is Kerri Hunter and I am on a mission to raise funds for an orphanage/school in Uganda. My heart has deeply cared for children since I was a young a girl, and I am taking it one step further. From owning/operating a daycare, having two children of my own, and working as a teachers assistant (14 years-primary school), I feel I want to take it one step further..

I will be leaving on March 17th to Our Hearts4 Africans Uganda and spending 6 weeks with children, staff and community.

My mission is to raise funds for the orphanage, so the staff can provide the children with food, housing/schools/toilets and educational supplies.

i would like to bring some items from Canada, that is expensive and difficult to purchase in Uganada.

I am looking at gathering new toothbrushes, used shoes, used clothing, used Soccers balls, used frisbees, art supplies (crayons/pencils/piper cleaners/paper clips, stickers, sparkles, beads, yearn) used/new deck of cards, educational cards and so on. …

I am in hopes to spend 6 weeks at the orphanage sharing all that I know, as well as learning from everyone at the orphanage.
