Fueling a Future in Advocacy Theatre, Support My Move to NYC
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Josh Treviño Jr, and I’m a passionate stage manager and advocate for equity in the arts. After studying at Texas State University, I’ve recently been accepted to Pace University in New York City to continue pursuing my dream in stage management, right at the heart of the theatre world.
My work has always centered around advocacy theatre—creating space for underrepresented voices, using performance as a tool for change, and uplifting stories that too often go unheard. I’ve been fortunate to receive accolades and scholarships that have recognized my commitment to this mission, and now I’m ready to take the next step: moving to NYC to be closer to the scene and continue working alongside my current mentors, as well as continuing my growth as an artist and advocate.
Relocating across the country comes with a lot of financial challenges. Your support will go directly toward helping me make this transition—covering moving costs, housing, and essential living expenses as I get settled into this exciting new chapter.
If you believe in the power of art to change lives—and in young artists of color who are dedicated to that mission—please consider supporting my journey. Every donation, share, or word of encouragement means the world.
Thank you for believing in me.
