Support the MVPA Lewis & Clark Historic Military Vehicle Convoy
The Military Vehicle Preservation Association (MVPA) is a nonprofit dedicated to keeping historic military vehicles “in motion” — preserving, restoring, and sharing both the machines and the stories of the people who designed, built, and used them.
In 2026, the Military Vehicle Preservation Association will mark America's 250th anniversary by taking more than 50 historic military vehicles on a 2,100-mile journey from Bismarck, North Dakota, to the Pacific Ocean.
From July 26 through August 15, we'll follow the route of the Lewis & Clark Expedition as closely as possible, stopping in communities across the northern United States.
This will be the MVPA's 10th cross-country Convoy. Our vehicles range from WWII-era jeeps and trucks to more modern military vehicles. Each of these historic military vehicles is privately owned, maintained and driven by its owner.
Along the route, thousands of people will have a chance to see these vehicles up close, talk with the owners and hear the stories behind the vehicles. We'll also take every opportunity to thank veterans and active-duty service members for their service.
How Your Donation Helps
When the Convoy comes to town, veterans share memories, families come out to see the vehicles and people line the streets to watch us pass by.
Getting more than 50 historic military vehicles from North Dakota to the Pacific Ocean takes a lot of fuel and a lot of effort.
Rising fuel costs have increased the cost of participating in the Convoy. Your contribution will help keep these vehicles on the road and help bring this living history event to communities along the Lewis & Clark Trail.
Whether you contribute $10 or $100, thank you for helping keep this historic journey moving.

Funds raised through this campaign will be deposited into a Military Vehicle Preservation Association account and used to support the 2026 Lewis & Clark Historic Military Vehicle Convoy.
