Every year in Indianapolis, around 6,000 justice-involved individuals are released from prison, many returning to high-risk areas such as zip codes 46201, 46208, 46218, 46219, 46222, 46226, and 46235. These individuals urgently need resources to navigate their return to society and successfully reintegrate into our communities. At 1LikeMe (Thomas Ridley’s 1 Like Me, Inc.), we strive to provide second chances and real opportunities for success to those who need it most.

What is Giving Tuesday?

Giving Tuesday is a global movement dedicated to encouraging generosity and supporting nonprofits that make a difference in their communities. It’s a day for individuals worldwide to give back and help organizations like 1LikeMe continue their essential work. Every donation on this day will directly impact the lives of justice-involved individuals striving for stability and socioeconomic security.

How Your Tax-Deductible Donation Helps

Your contributions will help us provide critical resources and services to justice-impacted individuals. Here’s how your support can make a direct impact:

• $250 Donation: Supports 1 participant enrolled in our programs with barrier buster services, such as housing assistance, transportation, employment support, identification, food security, educational courses, vocational certificates, and medical assistance.

• $180 Donation: Provides 1 participant with a 3-month bus pass, ensuring reliable transportation to work, job interviews, medical appointments, and other essential activities.

• $100 Donation: Assists 1 participant in obtaining an SR-22 insurance policy, a critical step in regaining their driving privileges and increasing job opportunities.

• $50 Donation: Contributes to the overall reach of our programs, allowing 1LikeMe to expand services and continue providing essential support to justice-impacted individuals in our community.
