There is a certain kind of magic that can only be carried, not shipped.

It looks like a trunk full of wrapped toys.

It feels like hope arriving right on time.

It sounds like a knock on the door of a family who wasn’t sure Christmas would come this year.

For fourteen seasons, that magic has moved through this program like light through winter branches.

And this year, because of the generosity of this community, we have officially surpassed the cost of the U-Haul truck we rely on to deliver gifts across Minnesota.

You funded the sleigh.

Now we’re asking your help to fill it.

What Happens Next

We are shifting this fundraiser into something even more meaningful:

Every additional dollar raised will go directly toward holiday meal gift cards and gifts for families who have not yet been sponsored.

Time is running short, and every day more families—fully screened, fully verified, fully deserving—reach out hoping for a Christmas miracle.

These are families referred to us by:

Domestic violence shelters

Homeless shelters

School social workers

Caseworkers

Probation officers

Reentry and education programs

The VA

Counselors and mental health professionals across Minnesota

Many of these families are protected under HIPAA privacy laws.

These are the households who cannot be placed with direct sponsors, but who still deserve to be remembered, honored, and lifted during the holidays.

And so, with every ounce of strength we have, we show up for them.

My husband Brian, a Senior Counselor at Sagent Behavioral Health (formerly Nystrom & Associates), and I spend every waking moment outside of our full-time jobs delivering gifts, organizing lists, picking up donations, and trying to make sure no child gets left behind.

How Your Donation Helps

All remaining funds from this fundraiser will be used to:

✨ Purchase holiday meal gift cards for families still waiting

✨ Buy gifts and toys for children who have not been sponsored

✨ Fill gaps when sponsors cannot complete every item

✨ Ensure that every vetted family receives something meaningful this Christmas

There is no paid staff, no overhead, no admin fees.

Just two people and a community who believe that every child deserves to feel seen at Christmas.
