Hi my name is Lottie Lowe.
So in a nutshell...
In 2017 I was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. I was only 43 with 3 young children, and, as I am a personal trainer and keep myself fit and healthy... it was quite a shock. Treatment at this stage involved (among other things) biopsies, surgeries radiotherapy, the list goes on.
Unfortunately, later that year I was also diagnosed with another variant of Cancer which was just as invasive. This time my treatment involved chemotherapy, further surgeries - 2 of which were majorgenetic scans... which then diagnosed the braca gene. In between this, I also had 2 full strokes, and my body rejected the reconstructive implants. Part of this treatment then put me into a chemical menopause and all of its symptoms. Anyway enough about me....
Through all the emotional and physical turmoil I decided I wanted to launch (and now relaunch) a brand - and so FUC clothing was born. A company providing affordable, ethical gym wear whilst raising money for the smaller and less known cancer charities. I have learnt from personal experience that they do amazing things with individuals who have been diagnosed, and support their family and friends who also need help processing what is happening to their loved ones. Sometimes, support in the smallest way can actually make the biggest difference to people.
My brand is bolshy and ballsy and in your face, but then hey, so is cancer.
It's something so many of us have no control over and now horrifically effects 1 in 2 of us. With those kind of statistics we should all, at the very least, be aware.
I managed to raise a considerable amount of money through the brand and local social/sporting events which allowed me to donate generously to local charities which have been close to my heart.
I had to stop for a while due to the intense emotional investment involved, and a number of personal reasons also. But... now in my 50th year I am back with vengeance and ready to kick start my business. And this is where you guys come in! I'm looking for all the support possible which will allow me to launch a new and exciting range of apparel and other desirable products which will appeal to all and still allow me to donate the maximum amount possible.
The goal is to own the company that donates the largest amounts to the smaller charities, which inevitably need it the most. I'd be so grateful if you can help me to achieve this dream. And together we can say FU to cancer
