Lola's Trip to Zanzibar 2025

Hi,
My name is Lola and I am nearly 14 years old and I attend a secondary school in Botley. In July 2025 I will be travelling to Zanzibar in Africa for a once in a life time trip to volunteer at one of the three large, overcrowded schools on the outskirts of Stone Town, which educate a combined total of 15,000 children. The schools are so overpopulated that they are required to split the school day in two, running classes for half the students in the morning and the other half in the afternoon. Because of this, many students are missing out on the full education they deserve. I will be working with a school to support teaching and help improve their facilities and classroom space to address this issue.
