Alvero and Chelcie are Highschool sweethearts who are married with 4 children (ages: 14, 7, 5 and 4 years old).
In August of 2019, Alvero was diagnosed with Kidney Failure and is required to be on dialysis for 9 + hours a day while he waits for a Kidney Transplant. These circumstances make it impossible for him to keep working.
Prior to being put off work Alvero worked in his community for 10 years; 8 years at Hope Blooms and for 2 years at LOVE NS. He remains an active and positive community member in the North End.
