This past weekend,  3 Sheriffs from the Sonoma County Sheriff's Department arrested a long time fruit stand vendor, an essential worker, attempting to earn a living wage by providing fresh fruits and vegetables for our community.  After he was harassed and handcuffed, they cited him with a health order violation. 

Please help us, Comunidad Maya Mam, in collaboration with  Border Angels Sonoma County, Hope | Esperanza, Indivisible Petaluma, CALMA & Bay Love Housing , raise funds to help with his citation fee and basic needs during this hardship.  

If our goal is met, a portion of the funds will be used to provide essential resources to the greater Maya Mam community in the Bay Area, many of whom work in the food and agriculture industry and have been deeply impacted by the shelter in place orders.
