Frugal Coyote Fundraiser benefits Ministers Assn.

The Borrego Ministers Assn. is the social service organization that will receive the donations from this campaign. Recognizing the huge loss of employment during this time of COVID, the BMA has stepped up as the major group in town offering direct assistance to residents of Borrego Springs and Ocotillo Wells.
The BMA is unique in that they do not give people money. Instead they help people by directly paying bills (sometimes partially) for living expenses such as rent, utilities,a cell phone bill, medicine, doctor's bills,a gas card for needed travel, etc.
They also counsel people and respond by finding local in-kind help.
100% of these donations are used for these activities. All overhead expenses (mainly mailing) are covered by members of the BMA. They are excellent stewards of your donations.

In addition, for each donation of $50. or more, one $50. Gift Certificate has been given to the Ministers for distribution to needy Borrego Springs Families for use any time at the Frugal Coyote Resale shop. The certificate does not expire and can be used for sale items as well. GREAT VALUE: If the certificate is used on 50% off sale days recipients will receive $100. worth of goods!!
The Frugal Coyote is a Borrego Springs CA re-sale shop where donations of goods from the community are re-sold to support the Children's Day Care Center and other community charities. It is managed by Ann Jastrok who envisioned this campaign.

This fundraiser is being managed by Linda Stanley, an admin of the FaceBook Page Borrego Shops! and a seasonal visitor to Borrego Springs. Borrego Shops! advocates for local businesses like the Frugal Coyote and does free advertising and promotions for Borrego Springs businesses and service clubs. Linda lives in Glenview, Illinois and is responsible for both the delivery to the Minister's Association of the Gift Certificates and the money received from this fundraiser.
