Thank you for taking a moment to read something so close to our hearts. Sharing this feels vulnerable, but it comes from a place of love, hope, and the quiet ache of a dream we’re trying our best to reach.

For those that don't know, in 2017 Alex had a vasectomy, a decision that suited the life he had at the time. But life has a way of surprising us, and when we found each other, everything changed. Our future opened up in ways we never expected, and together we discovered a shared hope of having a baby together.

Becoming a step‑mum to Noah and Eviee has been one of the most beautiful parts of my life. I adore them, and as grateful as I am for the bond we share, it’s also made my desire to have a baby of my own even clearer. It’s a feeling that sits softly in my heart every day.

We recently had a consultation at KIMS Hospital in Maidstone, where the specialist was very positive about his chances of a successful reversal. That gave us so much hope. At the same time, we were reminded that the longer a reversal is left, the lower the success rate becomes, so timing matters and that weighs heavily on us.

It’s a significant amount, and not something that is covered by the NHS. Despite both working hard, it’s simply more than we can manage right now. Without a reversal the alternative option would be to consider IUI fertility treatment with Surgical Sperm Retrieval at roughly £4700 - £5500 for just 1 cycle!

Creating this GoFundMe wasn’t an easy decision. It feels personal and emotional to open our hearts like this. But a few of our loved ones encouraged us, reminding us that people who care might want the chance to help.
