************************
My name is David Michael Howarth. I am a Corporate/Editorial Photographer and have been photographing the faces of the Tri-State area for over 20 years. Ever since this pandemic hit, I’ve been following the “stay at home” orders, sheltering in place with my family, homeschooling my two young children, hoping those afflicted can beat the virus, and waiting to get back to life as we once knew it - even if it is a little different once we return. It got me thinking, with all the struggle and raw emotion, how can I help and make things just a little better?

Many families in our area have already been living paycheck to paycheck even before the COVID19 pandemic struck. These recent global events have forced many of us to stay home and, in many cases, put us out of work. Now, more than ever, people are relying on food pantries to feed their families.

This is where we all come in! Let’s give back to our community and provide essential meals to those in need! How?! It’s fun and easy! I want to take your picture, in your front yard, of you and your family, roommate, pets, anyone in your house, just being YOU! Dress down, dress up, wear facemasks, PJs – you name it! I am looking to take an interesting and dynamic photograph of your family that will be unlike any photo you have in your family album! I would like the picture to reflect the energy of the time we are experiencing. Each session is 5 minutes max and will take place outside only. I will stay 10’+ away from subjects, will be wearing a face mask and will be shooting from the street or sidewalk. The project will take place here in Camden County, NJ and will share photos on social media as #frontyardproject. Those photographed will receive 1 digital file from the photo session sent via email.

I am requesting all those photographed make a donation through this GoFundMe campaign to Cathedral Kitchen (www.cathedralkitchen.org) to help restock one of Camden County’s largest emergency food providers. $50 is recommended but any amount is appreciated.

By taking part in this project, you agree, all photos are property of David Michael Howarth Photography and may be used on the web and in print. I will do my best to accommodate all requests, but this will be first come, first photographed, depending on demand.
