Frontline charity event for MacMillan

Hello everyone, as many of you will know I am one of the owners of Frontline. When the original founders of Frontline first started putting on events, they put on two stacked line-ups where everyone played for free for charity. Those two charities were Mind and the Disasters Emergency Committee in support of Ukraine.

I have very recently lost two of my grandads due to their battles with cancer — Nigel Knowlson and Tom Rogers. These two amazing men were such huge influences on my life and the person I am today. They were strong, kind, endlessly supportive, and always put family first. They were truly loved by everyone who knew them, and our whole family feels their absence every single day.

Both of these grandads showed me the importance of looking after others, showing up for the people you love, and making the most of the time you have. Watching them fight so bravely against cancer and seeing the care and compassion shown by Macmillan during those times, really opened my eyes to how vital this charity is for so many families.

So with that in mind, Frontline will be putting on a charity event to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support — a cause that is now incredibly close to my heart. This one means more than words can explain. It’s about honouring my grandads, giving something back and using music to bring people together for something bigger than ourselves.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support Frontline, and thank you in advance to anyone who comes down, donates, or shares. This one’s for Nigel and Tom
