Hi, I'm Monique, and after over 16 years working in care and community outreach here in the UK, I’ve been given the incredible opportunity to serve internationally.

This October 2026, I’ll be joining a team through Mission to Change, a Christian Humanitarian Charity on a two-week mission to Indonesia. We’ll be working directly with communities in need, and I need your help to get there.

Our team will be involved in:

Renovating under-resourced schools

Retrofitting homes for families vulnerable to storms

Supporting a community clinic with free medical & dental care

‍ Teaching English to local students

Assisting with sustainable farming & nutrition education

This work directly supports children, families, and entire neighbourhoods giving them tools, safety, and access to resources many of us take for granted.

I’ve always believed in care through action. For over a decade, I’ve supported people in my community, and I promised myself one day I’d take that mission further.

This trip is my opportunity to give back globally, serve hands-on, and learn from a community and culture entirely different from my own.

How The Funds Will Be Used

I’m aiming to raise £1500 to help cover:

- Flights and accommodation

- Transport and meals while on mission

- Tools, supplies, and outreach materials

- Support for clinics, schools, and host families

All funds go directly toward making this mission possible and impactful, both for those we serve and the team giving their time and energy to be there.
