I am humbly asking for help today after being "trapped" in a very unhealthy relationship for close to 9 years. I am finally extraditing myself and my kids and working my way through the fog of divorce/ parenting plan/ orders of protection/ and other not so fun court proceedings. My girls and I have been living in our camper without plumbing for the last month and winter is rapidly approaching! I am aware of the many programs available to help "women in my position," and have applied for section 8, and emergency housing vouchers among other things....but they take time, and I only have a day or two to raise the money!
I am willing to trade for local photography work, jewelry, light landscaping or yard work for your donation.
I have been blessed to find and be approved for a beautifully refinished cozy cabin apartment in the woods near Olney where I work for Great Northern Powder Guides. The price is unbelievably cheap. (750/month including all utilities). It's like going back in time! It came upon my lap suddenly and I don't have the funds I need for first month's rent and deposit. It couldn't be a more perfect place for my family to re-group and heal. My babysitter is literally just down the road, my son's best friend is in the neighborhood, and it's 3 miles from work!
The setting is beautiful and serene, overlooking the Stillwater Valley. It allows pets, there is a friend for Marley to play with right next door, I know all the neighbors.....I could go on and on. It has to be fate.
I do not like to have to ask for help....but I need help. Like I said, I only have a couple days to come up with the money or they will start advertising it. The landlord came to me first because I've been bothering them for over a couple years hoping that one of their rentals would open up. I've always dreamed of living out there, and now I have that chance for me and my kids to recover from the abuse.
I would be so grateful for any assistance. Every penny helps.
Kindest Regards,
Emily
