We are Military Order of the Purple Heart (MOPH) Chapter 210, a proud organization made up exclusively of combat-wounded veterans who have received the Purple Heart—the nation’s oldest and most sacred military decoration, awarded to those wounded or killed in action while serving our country.

We serve Los Angeles and Orange Counties, advocating for veterans, mentoring the next generation, and ensuring no Purple Heart recipient is ever forgotten.

Why We’re Asking for Your Help

Recently, the LA County Board of Supervisors recognized Chapter 210 for our ongoing service, leadership, and community engagement. That public honor has opened new doors—ABC7 Eyewitness News is preparing a feature on our chapter and mission. We’re grateful for the spotlight, but we also recognize this moment as an opportunity to expand our impact and invite the community to join us.

Host community events and outreach drives for wounded and underserved veterans

Provide hot meals, hygiene kits, school supplies, and holiday gifts to veterans and their families

Install Purple Heart parking signs and recognition markers in local cities and public buildings

Launch awareness campaigns to protect veterans from fraudulent benefit claim “sharks”

Recruit and mentor younger combat veterans in both Los Angeles and Orange Counties

We do all of this as volunteers. We receive no government funding and often use our resources to help our brothers and sisters in need. Now, with your help, we can do more.
