I don’t usually share this part of my life.
For many years, I’ve quietly stayed connected with dear friends across the world
people I have personally talked to, prayed with, cried with, and watched fight through things most of us will never experience.
These are not strangers to me.
These are my friends.
What you’re seeing in these photos are children who have been taken in not by an organization, not by a system but by a young man and his family who simply chose to love the way Jesus calls us to love.
When I first met him, his mother was already caring for orphaned children in their community in the mass.
No resources.
No stability.
Barely enough food for themselves.
But she still gave.
She fed children when she didn’t have enough food for her own.
She sheltered them when she barely had shelter herself.
She raised her children to give even when they had nothing. And taught them they have everything Thanks to God . Truly people toblearn from .
Over the years, things got harder.
His father eventually left something that happens when the weight becomes too much and there simply isn’t enough to provide for everyone.
And about a year and a half to two years ago, his mother passed away.
That loss was devastating.
Not just for her children but for every child she had taken in, loved, and cared for.
So many children… more than you could imagine trying to feed with just a small bag of rice and no clean water always wondering if they will have enough to keep a small roof over thier heads .
When she passed, it left a gap that felt impossible to fill.
But he stepped in Bigger then ever with all of GODS LOVE .
He chose to carry her legacy forward.
He chose to keep going.
He chose to put on the armor of God and continue doing the work she started feeding these children, loving them, praying with them, and fighting for a better life for them AND TEACHING THEM ABOUT JESUS!!
“Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand…” – Ephesians 6:11
There is no doubt in my mind there is a special place in heaven for him, his family, and the life his mother lived.
He makes her proud every single day.
And he makes me proud every single day.
These children go to bed hungry.
They go to bed thirsty.
Some have lost their parents.
Some have experienced things no child ever should.
And yet they still have hope.
Because someone refuses to give up on them. Because someone chooses to stay and fight with as much as he can .
We’ve sent what we can over the years clothes, Bibles, shoes, hygiene items, food.
We’ve tried connecting them with charities.
We’ve done everything we can from here.
But it’s not enough.
Right now, they have an opportunity that could change everything:
A HOME.
For $3,000, they can secure a permanent home.
A place they won’t be kicked out of.
A place where they don’t have to constantly scrape just to survive.
A place where they can focus on feeding the children instead of worrying about rent.
A place with space.
A place where they can raise livestock to help feed everyone.
A place of stability.
If you’ve never had to wonder where you’re sleeping at night, it’s hard to fully understand how big that is.
They don’t have running water.
They collect water from a river.
Beds are still a luxury.
Their homes are built by hand from the earth beneath them.
And still ...they give.
That’s what humbles me the most.
We live in a world where we’ve been conditioned to think our $1, $5, or $10 doesn’t matter.
It does.
To them, it’s everything.
“Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord.” – Proverbs 19:17
I don’t know if this will reach the full goal.
Honestly, the chances might feel unlikely.
But I’m still going to give it a go.
Because even if we don’t hit the full amount
anything we raise will make a difference.
So I’m asking
If you feel it on your heart… give.
$1
$5
$10
$100
Whatever you can.
Because what feels small to us
is life-changing to them.
Let’s come together and give these children something they’ve never truly had
A place to call home.
