Why I’m Raising Money for Men’s Mental Health?
I’m raising money for men’s mental health while documenting my journey back to being clean and rebuilding my fitness and my life.
This isn’t a polished comeback story. It’s a real one.
When I first became a father, I thought it would automatically give me direction and stability. Instead, it exposed how broken I already felt. I carried a constant belief that I was failing. Failing as a man, failing as a partner, and failing as a dad. I didn’t know how to talk about it, and like many men, I didn’t think I was allowed to struggle.
That pressure built quietly and became overwhelming at times. I made mistakes, battled with my mental health, and struggled with staying clean. But I’ve been determined to turn things around.
I’m now committed to getting clean and staying clean. I’m rebuilding my mental health from the ground up and returning to fitness, not just to look like I used to, but to reclaim discipline, structure, and self-respect. Fitness is something I once had and lost, and earning it back mirrors earning back consistency and belief in myself.
I’m documenting this journey openly because men need to see that struggling doesn’t mean you’re weak, broken, or beyond repair. Too many men suffer in silence, and I want to show that change is possible.
The money raised will go toward supporting men’s mental health initiatives and resources and toward creating and documenting this journey so other men can see that change is possible, even after real struggles.
This is about accountability, not excuses.
This is about rebuilding, not pretending.
This is about showing up, even when it’s uncomfortable.
Thank you for reading. Thank you for believing in second chances.
365 days to get this done!!!
