Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

Yesterday, a powerful storm devastated the home of our dear friends John and Angie Harker, their son, and their beloved animals. Many of you know their home, A-frame house that has been a well-known landmark around town for years. The damage to their home is so severe that it is no longer livable. Thankfully, John, Angie, and their family were not home at the time and are safe, but their lives have been completely uprooted.

While they are grateful to be unharmed, the road to recovery is a long one. Insurance will cover some of the repairs, but there is a significant deductible they need to pay out-of-pocket, along with other unforeseen costs such as temporary housing, replacing personal items, and essential living expenses.
