The Avila Beach Junior Lifeguard Program is initiating a fundraising campaign to help those impacted by the recent fires in Maui. Our goal is to rally the Junior Lifeguard community of San Luis Obispo County to raise funds for those that were displaced and impacted by this tragic event. In addition to rallying our community for another community, our goal is to model empathy, compassion, and initiative for our Junior Guards.
We are hosting a fundraising event at the Cliff's Hotel and Resort on Friday, September 8th. This event will include,
- An outdoor screening of Big Wave Guardians
- A silent auction supported by Dewey Weber , Ernie Ball , Just Looking Gallery , The Cliff's Hotel and Resort , and more.
Our goal is to show love for Maui's community by bringing ours together. All funds raised will be directed to the Hawai'i Community Foundation's - Maui Strong Fund that will distribute funds for community needs.
